There are many ways to make money on the Internet. Internet money making opportunities are endless.

Some of the ways to make money on the Internet aside from writing articles or joining websites to get paid are the following:

1. Become an online teacher or homework tutor or Adjunct Faculty Professors in your local community colleges.

There are many adjunct faculties nowadays who are teaching online and they are usually doing live classes on the Internet using their laptop or home computer.

One of my teachers is making money on the Internet through teaching online. She was in Hawaii the last time I talked to her, she showed me the beach using web cam where she was vacationing and at the same time, showing up on our online classes. How cool is that? You can travel anywhere and still be able to work on the Internet and get paid for it.

But of course, you need to have education for this opportunity to work or at least have a formal training.

You can get your formal training through hybrid classes offered in your local community college. You don’t have to be in the school classroom every day to attend your classes. You can just show up in school for major exams such as midterm and final or whatever proctored tests that you are required to take. There are also “online only” classes and you never have to step a foot anywhere in school facility.

2. Become a Computer Programmer online.

Computer programmers are enjoying the opportunity of earning money on the Internet by writing codes to create software programs. You can work from home or anywhere in this job and earned money as much as $35 an hour, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

But of course, you need to have your Bachelor’s Degree first or expertise in software programming. How can you write a code so that the computer will follow it? For this job to make it a reality, you need to attend in school first and learned how to program. You can get an Associate Degree in your local college or online class but I would prefer to be in school on this one though. I think to become a computer programmer is not easy even if it is for just two year degree in community college.

I will try to enroll in this program when I get the opportunity to do so in the future and see if I can do it. I am not a computer person, so computer programming seems impossible for me but I am willing to try it and see if I can pass the test.

3. Become a Financial Analyst working from home.

I have a friend or neighbor, she is a financial analyst and she works from her home. She can be in her office once in a while but most of her time she is working full time at home with her full time job as a financial analyst.

And according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Financial Analysts are making money as much as $37 an hour. Now, this is really cool to know. But then again, you also need a Bachelor’s Degree and for advance position you are even required to have a Master’s Degree.

This is not an easy job opportunity because you will be giving guidance to businesses and individual investors to make it sure that their portfolios are in good health. It is going to be a heck of a challenge but if others can do it then what’s blocking you. There is nothing wrong in trying if you really want something and earn money at the same time, well of course after paying your student loans or whatever debts you incur upon completing the degree.

Basically, if you finished your formal education or training, then the opportunity of making money on the Internet is very promising. There are many jobs that you can work on the Internet and you don’t have to commute to get to work. You can also design websites and become a web designer. Maybe, you can even buy and sell domain names or websites and be an entrepreneur.

Who knows what you are interested in terms of earning money on the Internet. But some of us really, just want to test the water and then when they get wet they lost their interest of finishing what they started.

I think earning money on the Internet is like a hobby but with passion. You will enjoy every minute of it. It does not matter what it is that you are doing, as long as you have passion put into it, then it’s going to be fun. Second, there’s no excuse of not earning money online, as long as you have Internet connection or if you can find a way to be online and using your computer or public computer. At first, I did not own a laptop or any computer or Internet. I started at the public library. But I was determined to earn money.

Third tip on how to success online is to work hard. As you can probably tell by now that my grammar is not perfect. And I don’t think there is such thing as being “perfect” in life and I am one of those who have weaknesses either in writing or talking. In short, I have limited English speaking skills. Would that be a problem? It all depends with your determination and perseverance to succeed. I have been criticized because of my bad grammar, but I did not let the critics discouraged me to make money. I did not have work permit back then and I just arrived here in United States with limited English skills. Life was not what I expected in the beginning until I started earning money on the Internet. So, here are the tips to “Earn Money on the Internet”:

1. PayPal Account

Why do you need to have a Pay Pal account? It is widely used as a gateway payment processor, you will get paid or receive your earnings quickly if you have PayPal account, if not, then they can mail the check, but then it might get lost in the mail and also it will take time. Or direct bank deposit, but not all sites offers direct bank deposit. Compared with PayPal it is fast and safe in terms of receiving your earnings. Most of all, it is free to create one. Also, make sure that you have your email address. You can get one using Yahoo mail or Gmail or Google mail or whatever you prefer.

2. Google AdSense Account

After getting your valid email address and PayPal account, you also need to sign up an account with Google Adsense. Google offers various products. But, I made money through Google Adsense. You can sign up for free and don’t forget to read the terms and follow through the rules in using AdSense.

3. Blogger Website

You need to sign up an account in this website. It is also free to create an account here. Read the website and see if you like writing your personal experiences here or blogging or writing your journal. This is where you can start blogging and insert your Google Adsense Code in order to earn money on the Internet. Do not focus on how much you earn. Work hard on your passion to do it. You have to be interested and inspired to make this a reality, otherwise, you won’t be able to concentrate of what to write and then you keep thinking what’s next until you lost interest of finishing your goal. Don’t get discourage easily, be passionate about it. Have fun blogging and be patient. Don’t expect to rain cash in seconds without finishing a sentence in your blog. Work hard with passion and goals in mind. Familiarize the website if you are new into blogging or new to this website. Ask yourself, if this is for you.

Another website to write your blogs is called WordPress. Everyone likes it, including me, but I don’t know about you. So, check it out yourself. There are many blogging platforms if nothing fits you here.

4. Youtube Account

To add additional earnings aside from blogging, you need to sign up an account with YouTube. Not long ago, this popular video website started paying their video contributors. So, if you are into filming videos at home or anywhere you go, then be a successful Youtubers. You can film yourself chasing your dogs or cats for exercise and then upload it to this site. Make it all original to avoid breaking the rules of copyrights. Make sure you read and understand the term “Copyright” violations. Check other users in this site on how they present their videos, some are professionals and some are beginners.

5. Writing Articles Online

How many websites that you know that you can make money through writing articles on the internet? There are many but only few are proven to be genuine and really pay their writers. Some of those writing article sites are scams or will not pay you. So, be aware of the schemes.

The sites that I trusted in terms of earning money through writing articles are:

DemandMedia or DemandStudios website- this is a good start to earn money writing articles. This is a genuine website and they pay their writers or contributors promptly. You will make money on this site, especially if you have a degree or specialty or education. I made really good income on this company few years ago especially through eHow writing articles before they went public. They only keep writers who have degree or education or specialty or expertise. Unfortunately, I did not have a degree and my grammar was really bad. I felt bad, but I was inspired to keep dreaming and reaching my goals in life. I never give up, so why would you?

Another writing article website is called Hubpages. This is also real and I am still earning until today from this website even though I rarely visit there due to many things that occupy my time. When you write articles on this website, you are going to have an additional source of passive income besides working from 5-9 with your regular job. There are many other sites, but I like these two the best. You are free to search what fits you the most.

6. Affiliates Marketing

Did you hear of affiliate income opportunities? If you are new about affiliate marketing, then check out these popular websites:

Amazon- this is a widely known online store and you probably heard of this name before, but if not, this is another way to earn money on the internet. You can check out their affiliate program. I keep receiving income from this site too and if you are not into marketing, then maybe at least give it a try and find out the possibilities here. You can get an account for free. You can set up an online store using their content or products and when the visitors or customers placed an order from one of your online store, then you will get a commission or percentage for bringing traffic to their business.

Another affiliate opportunity on the internet is through EBay. You can create your own page or blogs and embed an affiliate code in it and if someone buys something through your code or page and then you also made a cut or money from it. There are many of these types of affiliates on the internet but I like these two better. Aside from bringing customers to their business, you can also sell stuff on these sites. You can list them on eBay or amazon and earned money. You might even ended up selling just about anything. It’s all about of what you are passionate in life. You have to enjoy of what you do and don't be disappointed if you did not reach your goals as you expected. Perseverance is very important.

7. Building Website

If you learned something with your internet money making experience already, maybe you are interested into building your own website or online business in addition to your passive income or cash flow. You don’t have to be an expert in coding or a programmer to build your own website. There are easy instructions to follow to create your own online business, you just need to be patient and learned how to do it. If you have a will to build one then you can build one. Self-learning tools are available for free online - you just have to find it. Here’s how to get started in building your own website:

You can register your own domain name at Go Daddy website and sign up for free trial on how to build your own site. They have guides on how to get started. You can watch their learning videos. Be willing to spend a little bit of money on this one because registering a domain name is not free but it is worth a try if you put your heart into it. You can also get your own domain name at Google Domains. Google just started selling domains and it is a bit cheaper than Go Daddy. And if you use Google Domains, you can easily integrate it with Blogger and also it is easy to build a website this way, but it’s up to you. There are many domain registrars on the internet. Compare the prices and see which you like the best.

Once your domain is set up, you can add a website into it. Again, the instructions are in the web hosting provider’s website. You can build a site from web hosting providers such as Hostgator, Bluehost, and many others. Or you can also build a website from your own domain registrar, this way you don’t have to wonder around where to host your website or domain.

Decide what products you are interested in, to put into your website. You can sell stuff in it or make it as personal blog site. Whatever you desire. Build a social site or online store or affiliate store. Do not forget to embed your Google Adsense code in your pages or site, so that you can earn additional income. The limit is endless but most importantly “be passionate” about anything you do.

After everything is properly setup, it is time to market your own work. This is not the easy step to do but it is possible and it works. You tell people, friends, family or anyone about your new built site and find out if they are interested in your products. Make your products user-friendly and family friendly. Do not sell adult services or anything about pornography services because Google Adsense seems not into this stuff or gambling sites. So, to earn money on the internet using adsense, avoid anything illegal, pornographic in nature, gambling such as casino or poker site, and or anything abusive or against human rights or laws. But if you are not integrating Adsense in your own website, then you can have whatever products you want. You can have adult affiliate website or casino sites or any gambling sites through affiliates. Be responsible and knowledgeable about virtual world. Take precautions and stay safe. Keep your private information as “Private” and do not share too much on the internet. It is a good way to earn money on the internet but on the other hand, it is also risky, so keep your information safe. Your domain name should be set to private setting unless if it is a top level domain name, the government will not allow the registrar to hide your information with this type of domain. If you are in other country maybe it is different, but here in United States is not OK.

Another way to market your own website is by posting or sharing the links in different social websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and many other social sharing sites. You can also blog your own products and add your website links to it.

You might also be interested in paying someone or expert in SEO Optimization. You can hire programmers at Freelance or Odesk websites. These are some of the few sites where you can easily hire any experts in coding or marketing. Their prices are affordable and if you are new to Search Engine optimization, then paying a little money to get noticed on the internet is worth it. But, it’s up to you. You might even be interested to earn money through these websites. You can be one of the experts and get paid. Who knows! Check it out, it is worth a try.

If none of these methods made you any money at all, after trying it for a year or two, then this is not for you. This guide is for someone who wants to work hard and earn money on the internet such as single parents, students, unemployed or anyone who wants to pursue other ways to earn money on the internet.

When I arrived here in United States, I did not have working permit, I did not have identification, I did not have driver’s license, and worst of all, I did not have friends to talk to. I was alone and lonely until I found ways to make money on the internet. At first, it was more on healing process or therapy. Writing and earning at the same time can be therapeutic. Why not turned your loneliness into a business?

Writing on the internet and earning from it at the same time, healed my unfortunate journey here in United States. You are probably not interested about my story, but sometimes, listening to the bad luck of others will help you motivate of doing the impossible.

So, it is worth mentioning even just a tidbit of it. My life now is wonderful, happy, thankful and blessed.
